Nanjing Medical University (NMU), founded in 1934, is one of the top institutions of higher learning in China. As the name suggests, NMU is located in Nanjing, one of the four ancient Chinese capitals, a city which was a cultural, political and economical center in southern China and is currently the capital of Jiangsu province and an economical center in the Yangtze River Delta

NMU has a strong faculty team of 1470 registered faculty members, including 117 full professors, 175 associate professors, 185 supervisors of doctoral programs and 812 supervisors of master’s programs. NMU has 1 key laboratory at ministry level, 2 key laboratories co-established by the ministry and provincial government, 7 provincial key laboratories and research centers.

In recent years, NMU has launched an extensive exchange and cooperation with national and international higher institutions. The university has established bilateral and academic relationship with medical schools and scientific research institutions in USA, Canada, Britain, Germany, Japan, France and Australia. Some prestigious experts and scholars are conferred Nanjing Medical University honorary or guest professorship. Meanwhile, it has regularly sent teachers abroad for long-term study or short-term visits. Since 2002, the university has resumed enrollment of international students and students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. At present, the total number of international is over 500.

Hostels:

Nanjing Medical University (NMU) has 1 campus: Main Campus . The accommodation fee range is from 680.00 Per Person Per Year to 12000.00 Per Person Per Year. All apartments are equipped with air-conditioner, water heater, telephone, water dispenser, single bed, wardrobe, desk and network interface.

Students are allowed to rent house outside campus.

-Dormitories are abundant. All students living in the campus can guaranteed. It is not necessary to book in advance.

-To rent off the campus is allowed. 

-24 hours check-in service and reception service.

-Moving in before registration is not allowed.

-Registration should be done before checked in.

Nanjing Medical University Admission Process:

Step 1: Filing the application
Step 2: The University will roll the Offer letter after scrutinizing the student’s documents and application.
Step 3: Student need to deposit 2000$ to the University A/C within 7 days of receiving the Offer Letter
Step 4: On receiving the fee, the University will roll the admission letter & JW202 for the student
Step 5: The student will now complete the rest of the formalities in India (submission of Original Passport for Visa, Medical Check-up in India, MCI EC Application)
Step 6: The Authorized Representative will apply for Visa in Home Country
Step 7: The authorized representative will collect the Visa & intimate the date of flying in Sep/Oct. The rest fee will be deposited in the University upon the student’s arrival in China or can make before departure .
